The Religion of Climate Change
“And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him. And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal and worshipped him. And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.” I Kings 16:30-32
Ahab was one of the most wicked kings of the northern kingdom of Israel. He came to power in the 38th year of Asa’s rule over the southern kingdom of Judah. Ahab was responsible for the increase and severity of the sins of idolatry and abandonment of the Lord God of Israel, even more than previous rulers, proof of how sin multiplies and becomes more evil as times goes by. Ahab didn’t consider it a big deal to worship false gods, breaking the first commandment and breaking the second commandment in his use of images in his worship. To make matters worse, he married a woman named Jezebel, who worshipped the Baal gods, and was extremely wicked–a “mean, straight razor totin’ woman”.
Ahab built an altar for Baal and then built a temple in which to worship idols. He also made a grove of trees under which was carried on all kinds of vile and perverted acts done in the name of Baal. These groves were to act as a covering to hide their sin from God, as if that was possible. Baal was actually a group of gods called Baalam. There were many of them which represented various forms of nature, seasons, and man-made idols, but were actually controlled by demons. “Baal” means “lord” and was considered to be a fertility god responsible for the growth of crops and the conception of children. The Canaanites believed Baal to be the god of the sun and of storms, hence the “weather god” or “climate god”.
One of the chief forms of worship involved illicit sex and prostitution. Since these folks who participated in this idol worship were mostly Jews who had previously made sacrifices of animals as God had instructed, they continued to sacrifice, but they sacrificed babies and children. While no one who supports the idea of climate change caused by man would consider themselves a follower of a modern day Baal, the similarities between Baal worship and the mad-made religion of climate change is too obvious to ignore. These similarities point to the idea that the climate change and global warming hysteria have their roots in ancient Baal worship Those who promote the idea that man is capable of influencing and/or controlling the weather, thus calling for drastic measures such as the Green New Deal, is more likely a call to appease a modern-day Baal. Idol worship in various forms is just as prevalent today as in ancient times.
As far as the sex cults involved in Baal worship go, one doesn’t have to look no further than his or her television or local movie theater to see fornication, adultery, and other forms of sexual sin being portrayed as the norm. We also hear about all the pornography that is on line, and how it has negatively affected not only men but women as well. The form of worship among the people who followed the Baal gods which was the most horrendous was the sacrifice of babies and children. We lose 1 1/2 million babies a year to the inhumane scourge of abortion, most while still in the womb, but now even after birth. If a woman has an abortion because she doesn’t want the baby, then she has sacrificed the life of an innocent baby for her own selfish desires. It may seem ironic that Baal was a fertility god yet also the god of child sacrifice, but babies had to be conceived before they could be sacrificed.
This theory of the relation between the religion of climate change and the ancient worship of the Baal gods may sound a bit preposterous to most people, but never forget that while many believe and have stated that God works in mysterious ways, so does the devil.
